Khao Bin Cave (Tham Khao Bin)

📍 Ratchaburi, Mueang Ratchaburi

A long, well-lit show cave near Ratchaburi threading through a series of named chambers full of dramatic stalactites and flowstone formations — cool, quiet, and easy to walk.

Tham Khao Bin is one of those low-key Thai show caves that locals love and few foreigners find. A lit concrete path winds for several hundred metres through a chain of chambers, each given a fanciful name for the formations it holds.

Why It’s Interesting

The stalactites, columns, and rippling flowstone are genuinely impressive, and the constant cool makes it a welcome break from the heat outside. It’s accessible and unhurried — a good cave for families and anyone who wants the underground drama without the scramble.

Getting There

It’s a short drive into the hills west of Ratchaburi town, easy to combine with Khao Ngu Stone Park or the bat cave at Khao Chong Phran. Footwear with grip helps on the occasionally damp path.
